This browser-based game drops you in a random location on Earth using Google Street View, and your challenge is to figure out where you are. It might be a street in Paris, a dirt road in Kenya, or a snowy village in Norway. You explore your surroundings, look for clues, and make your best guess on the map.

How It Works

Playing GeoGuessr Free is super easy. Once you start a round, you’ll find yourself somewhere on the map with a full 360° view. You can move along the roads, zoom in to read signs, look at license plates, or check the landscape for hints. Once you think you know where you are, just click on the world map to make your guess.

The game then tells you how close (or far!) you were from the actual location and gives you points based on your accuracy. The closer your guess, the higher your score.
